桃县 公共工程 is made up of four Divisions. These Divisions include Public Roads and Sidewalks, 公共建筑, 雨水, and 固体废物 (Sanitation). The department is also responsible for managing many Capital Improvement projects throughout the County. The 公共工程 Department is responsible for the operation of many vital County facilities and infrastructure including:
- Construction and Maintenance of Roads, Bridges, and Sidewalks
- Construction and Maintenance of County Buildings
- Construction and Maintenance of 雨水 Infrastructure and ensuring compliance with State and Federal 雨水 Laws and Regulations
- Construction of new County Infrastructure and Facilities
- Trash and Yard Waste Roadside Collection
- Construction of infrastructure upgrades such as sanitary sewer
桃县 is comprised of approximately 151 square miles. There are over 230-miles of county roads (200-miles of paved roads, and 30-miles of dirt and gravel roads), 五座桥, 500-miles of drainage ways, 两个封闭堆填区, 超过286,000 square feet of county building space. The department also maintains records of plans and specifications of County buildings, 桥梁和道路, and other pertinent data.

In the event of an emergency, such as an accident with injuries or a crime in progress, or fire please call 9-1-1. Please call 9-1-1 if you see a problem on the road that is dangerous to the traveling public such as an obstruction, 路上的碎片, or a tree blocking or threatening the road. 公共工程 plays a vital support role in any declared emergency, such as snow removal or fallen trees and limbs during inclement weather. We help manage transportation, 拒绝, and other logistical issues that may arise during local or regional emergencies.
